BLOCKER ACADEMY OF MARTIAL ARTSMISSION STATEMENT

Snake Blocker visits Bangkok, Thailand - 2003

BAMA Mission Statement:

Blocker Academy of Martial Arts (BAMA) is an organization dedicated to the disciplines of combat.

BAMA teaches self-defense/self-preservation, confidence/courage, respect, self-control, integrity, and combat skills & history.

BAMA's mission is to teach universal principles and concepts found in thousands of martial arts.

BAMA teaches a student multiple ranges of combat and fighting styles.

BAMA believes that every martial art has something good to offer, but no system has all the answers.

BAMA teachings are based on Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do concepts.*

*The Jeet Kune Do idea is to combine several arts to prepare a student for real combat scenarios.
Combat scenarios may involve weapons, stand-up fighting, multiple attackers, and/or ground fighting.

BAMA encourages adults to start training consistantly, even if they have no prior experience.

BAMA teaches children to start their training at an early age to learn the basic motor skills and respect for teachers, others, and themselves.

BAMA teaches each and every student how to build up their self-confidence to be successful in life.

BAMA welcomes students of all ages, races, and colors (with good morale character).

BLOCKER ACADEMY OF MARTIAL ARTS VISION STATEMENT

Snake Blocker visits Bangkok, Thailand - 2003

BAMA Vision Statement:

Blocker Academy of Martial Arts has a vision to train 1,000 new students the art of self-preservation by the end of each year.

BAMA's goal is also to train and rank 20 quality instructors every 12 months.*

*To accomplish this goal, BAMA's goal is to add one new affiliate school every year in a different state.
Once the affiliate schools are in place with certified instructors, the amount of students and instructors will increase. After there is at least one affiliate school per state, BAMA will focus on several other countries for expansion.
